Thy name is Mr. DCD, I currently own.....120 1/24 scale model cars and 1 1/18 scale model bike. I have been collecting them for a good while now, I say about 8-9 month or so. Since I have a mass amount of cars I have limited space to put them, and some cars I plan to get in the future are becoming harder to find now.
My main focuses are to make something unique out of collecting unlike others that just keep things packaged and let them sit and do nothing all day.
Maisto's, Jada cars, Johnny Lightning, Fresh Cherries, For Sale's, American Graffiti, and Motor Max's are my targets.

G'day from Down Under and thanks for the invite to your forum site. Early days yet but should be a fantasic place to meet and chat about diecast cars. I only started collecting in June 2008 and was at first taken by the outstanding details in the Biante '71 XY GT race car of 'John French' because he was a Queensland driver from my home town. Then came a 'Peter Brock' Torana and a 'Norm Beechley' R/T Charger (yes Mopar) but Australian made. I wanted to put together a collection of my favourite '70s Aussie Muscle cars and bought a HQ Monaro, another XY GT HO, SS Torana, R/T Charger, XC Cobra and the just released HT Monaro. My favourite colour is orange if you haven't guessed by the Youtube movie and so the theme was made around that and yes on display and not hidden away in storage. Needed to complete the diorama with workshop tools and some ladies to make the scene look like a car show. Works a treat. Cheers for now. Brett

Hello, I just got your invitation to join the site. I see it's quite new since there are only several members so far. Anyways, I own about 60 1:18 diecast cars, from Maisto to HotWheels to AutoArt to Kyosho to Bburago to....pretty much a little of everything. I've been collecting for about 5 years, though I haven't been adding much to the collection lately due to "higher priorities." Anyways, I don't see a way to post pictures yet, so I'll just embed a YouTube video of my collection. I can now see that didn't work. How about a link? Hope you enjoy and I'm looking forward to seeing this community develop and grow.
OK, I just discovered that clicking that little "Tube" button while the YouTube link is selected does embed the video. I'm still learning. BTW, to the creator of the site, some tooltips corresponding to each little button (like the Tube button) would be helpful, because I really don't know what some of those do.
